This unit focuses on what is involved in food production and food anaylsis. Students are exposed to real challenges in the food industry while engaging in numerous inquiry-based activities. Students will design effective packages for perishable foods, create and refine recipes for a new food product, device QR codes for their products, and learn about food chemistry. Students are engaged in critical thinking as they apply their learning experiences to solving real-life problems.
