This camp is for Elementary School girls (Rising 3rd and 4th grade students)

Location : Virtual

Our STEM Summer Camp provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and tinkering. The goal of STEMWonders is to provide 21st century learning exposure for our participants in a fun and self-paced environment. Our STEM Sessions consist of several learning stations (with adult supervision) with session challenges. Our participants will receive ‘badges’ as they complete each challenge. Students may work in pairs, groups, or independently depending on the challenge.
Each STEM learning station will focus on the following STEM categories: • Engineering Design Challenge • Electronics and Circuitry • 3D Design and Printing • Robotics • Programming (Scratch) • App Development (MIT) • Biotechnology • Dissection • Forensic Science • Medical Applications

Here is a description of some of our daily/ weekly sessions:

Robotics
Get an amazing experience by designing, building, programming and testing LEGO based robots (EV3 and NXT) to complete tasks and missions.
Electronics and Circuitry
Just like electrical engineers, you will create, test and maintain different electrical circuit systems and explore the world of Makey Makey where you can turn everyday objects into a touchpads. (At least once a week)
Scratch Digital Game Design
Have fun learning how to use scratch to create interactive animations, games, music, and art and share your creations with families and friends!
Mechanical and Structural Engineering
Engage in a range of incredible engineering activities. You will use simple materials to design a prototype solution to open-ended problems/challenges.
